All these stickers appear on the wooden travel trunk of William James Mowat, from Wick, Scotland. He is my wife's Great Uncle. His sisters were Charlotte (Chatty) Mowat Bannerman, Catherine (Kitten) Mowat and Elizabeth (Bly) Mowat. If you look carefully at the top sticker, it says San Francisco. William arrived there just a few days after the Great Earthquake in 1906. He ultimately settled in South Africa, married a Scottish woman and had four children. He sent the trunk, full of memorabilia, to his sisters in Scotland. It has a secret compartment inside.
