I took this photo on 9/11/13 on the east side of the intersection. It looks like it got melted or mangled—it's been hot lately. I wish I could read all the copy. I like the thought in the lower right corner: "You must lay tile—alone (arrow) Feds. Here is an earlier post about a House of Hades tile I spotted on 5th Avenue. And here is a link to a ghostly image I saw earlier at the same intersection. It is back.
