Washing the Fashion Walk of Fame on 7th Avenue

The Fashion Walk of Fame is a project of The Fashion Center Business Improvement District. I was suprised to see that they actually wash the tributes to the designers, in this case Giorgio Di Sant'Angelo, who influence Marc Jacobs. They take care of their heroes on 7th Avenue.

Bannerman Hudson River Painting on Auction

This beautiful gouache painting will be auctioned off to raise money for seniors at Hastings-on-Hudson's Andrus Home. It will help pay for garden improvements, a movie screen for the auditorium, things like that. It was painted from the top of the Andrus building, looking north. That's the soon-to-disappear Tappan Zee Bridge connecting Tarrytown and Nyack. If you are interested in placing a bid (starts at $125), you have to move fast.
