I've always liked the description my friend Matt Georger gives of the BFG color: "sort of a lime or olive green, kinda matches your lawn on a sunny day."
Now Adam Gibson has sent me the above photo with this note:
"A lot of people have been asking me where the color came from for my grill. Well, the handle on my grill still had the original color on it from the 50s and I was able to have Sherwin Williams match the color exactly. I wanted to use them because they had an industrial metal paint and were able to recreate this magnificent color from our past. I have attached the ingredients but just let people know they need the industrial mix for longevity and holding up to the elements like heat and temp change."
Great info for someone redoing their Broil-Air. Thanks, Adam!
